About Us

Covert was established in 2001. Initially we were purely a company offering Security Services (Manned Guarding) to Businesses and organisations across the North East of Scotland. Our success was almost overnight and we went on to win various prestigious Business awards in 2002 and 2003. We also sped towards achieving Investors in People recognition towards the later part of 2002 and found ourselves moving into new larger office premises in Strathmore Avenue, Dundee.

In 2003, we started supplying contract cleaners to some large blue chip companies and realised there was a gap in the market for a professional Contract Cleaning company at a local level. In January 2004, we acquired a well established cleaning company called Janicol Eclipse Hygiene and continued to grow both businesses. During 2004, we worked tirelessly towards achieving the enviable Quality Management Standard ISO:9001 2000. We also moved to state of the art offices at Castlecroft Business Centre to assist us in the further building of our Business.

In 2006, we acquired Wright Clean Scotland Limited another well established contract cleaning company in the Tayside area, further adding to our impressive portfolio of contracts.

As the story suggests, our Contract Cleaning Division was growing rapidly and so was our need for good quality Janitorial and Cleaning Supplies. It was this purchasing process and a multitude of experiences, both good and bad that led us to the next logical Business venture and youre looking at it. So, in 2007, we started searching for premises which would better suit our needs, combined purpose built warehouses with offices attached which led us to where we are currently operating from-Baird Avenue Dundee.
